I graduate college in like 2 weeks and I don’t have a job yet. I’ve applied for 10 or so jobs and interviewed with one and haven’t got a response from anything. Looks like I’ll be throwing down at Camp Hanes this summer until I get a job. Some people take a few months off from the stresses of college before they look for a job. That’s not gonna happen with me since I have $30,000 in loans to pay off.

My character in World of Warcraft is pretty cool. I got into a pretty big raiding guild and have became one of the core raiders. I got Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros for my warrior due to my raid attendance and PVP skill!

It’s really gonna suck having to stop doing nothing for most of the day and get a job and live the regular life, but it will be very nice to not have to worry about dickhead professors and “making a C. Tabetha and I have been going out for almost 4 years now!! That’s a pretty long time. After I graduate we get to see each other everyday which will be a nice change of pace from a 4-year long distance relationship. Of course, all of my plans after college have to do with actually getting a job, which I’m very much failing at right now. 5 years ago when I was in high school my field was booming. There was 5 Computer Information Systems job for every 1 CIS major. Then the .Com collapse occured and the industry fucked itself over. Now, as I’m graduating, there is 5 CIS majors for every 1 CIS job. I’m hoping my 3.5 cumulative GPA and my 3.96 major GPA will help me get ahead.

We saw Silent Hill last night. It was “ok. The first half mimicked the first game so well that I was actually enjoying the movie. Then the second half just plain and simple sucked, bad enough to ruin the movie. I wouldn’t say it was a good movie, but it was definitely entertaining if you’ve played the game. I also didn’t think it was frightening, horrific, or scary/startling at all. Maybe because I’ve already been scarred by the game? Ha ha.

I wish a fucking company would just hire me. I know I can do any task given to me in the business world related to management, CIS, or journalism. I can write, I know how to be a good manager, and I know a boatload about computer hardware and CIS. I’m willing to work hard and produce quality services and products. I would be a good worker!! But it’s not about that. It’s about the first 5 seconds of the interview when the interviewer decides if you’re getting the job or not, most likely based on your physical appearance. I’ll just keep applying to every CIS job I see and hope that all of the other people miss one that I apply for.
