Everyone should watch Collateral. That movie is great. If you are into Michael Mann you will really enjoy this movie. Hey, if you are into good movies, you will really enjoy this movie. I was just thinking about how cool it was.

I hope everyone is checking out my Webshot photos. I don’t take those pictures for me! At least not all of them. They are for everyone to enjoy so check them as often as possible.

A lot of people flame Tom Cruise for being a Scientologist. I think the United States is the only country that recognizes Scientology as a religion. I don’t agree with Scientology in some aspects but a lot of the main points are very good rules to follow. I also believe that if someone can believe in something as much as Tom Cruise believes in Scientology, hell, let them do it. At least they are passionate about something.

Me and Josh and Nick went to the YMCA on our regularly scheduled workout and played 3 guys that I knew would beat our asses in basketball. To make a long story short, we sucked as bad as I thought we would, but I didn’t care about that. I cared about having a damn-near heart attack. I guess it was good for me. But damn, playing a game of basketball is rediculous for calistinix. That will shed the lbs for sure.

I bought some Tan Amplifier (that’s not what it’s called but that’s my redneck term for it) at Wal-Mart. It’s supposed to make you tan faster. I hope it works. At any rate, it was cheap, so no money wasted. I also bought some cool shorts that everyone is telling me “everyone wears.” I didn’t know that at the time but it doesn’t matter to me, I like them and I think they are cool, so I’m going to wear them.

I hate cellphones. I hate how everyone that has the “cool ones” (i.e. staple blue/white backlit LCD screen flip open style) flips them open at the perfect time to where everyone can see them and their cool phone. And I hate how they are turning into PDAs, but PDAs were considered “nerdy” by a lot of people, but all of a sudden it’s “cool” to have a phone that has lots of features now. But PDAs are nerdy!

Lots of movies coming up I want to see. War of the Worlds. Fantastic Four. I hope they don’t screw up Fantastic Four, it’s my favorite comic series to date. No one knows but me and Benjamin used to be obsessed with Fantastic Four. I know all sorts of cheesy stuff about them. Also Dukes of Hazzard. I love the series so I want to see how they will handle the movie.

I just got back from putting on that sun accelerator bronzer stuff. Man I have a lot of surface area to cover. It took me like 10 minutes to put it on.

Batman Begins… Saturday, June 18th, 2005

…is the best Batman movie ever made. Granted, there’s only like 4 (5 including this one) in recent history but still. You don’t get many good movies nowadays (or ever I guess) so it makes me happy when something like Batman gets a good movie made about it. One of the best I’ve seen this year. Christian Bale goes to school on Bruce Wayne and nails the hell out of the character. All of the other characters are excellently acted as well. Michael Caine as Alfred seems like he was born for the position (along with Bale) and Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson and Gary Oldman all bring in superb performances that I can find no complaints with. The guy that played Scarecrow gives me the creeps. That’s a good thing. I just liked the entire movie, it was excellent. I make a big deal about movies because I like them a lot. Especially good ones. Listen up filmmakers, since I know you read Abrigodebomba every day: you don’t need shitty computer graphics in your movies to make them cool. Batman Begins utilizies CGI perfectly: where you can’t tell it’s there.

Four Thirds Saturday, June 18th, 2005

I got my Four Thirds taken out yesterday. That’s Wisdom Teeth, or the four back molars for those who aren’t in the dentistry game. Breathing in nitro is incredibly funny. They call it laughing gas for a reason. I started laughing a little bit. My entire body went completely numb. It felt like my entire body fell asleep. It was really weird. Then they put the IV in and it all went to shit. I don’t remember falling asleep at all…I don’t remember losing consciousness. Then after 5 minutes they said “ok, you’re done.” It had been an hour and thirty minutes!! I was like “whoa…it can’t have been more than 5 minutes from the IV.” I guess it sort of either A. Knocks you out so bad that you don’t remember falling asleep OR waking up, or B. keeps you in a state of consciousness so “out of it” that you have NO idea what’s going on. It was very interesting.

The worst part is the stitches on the bottom ones. I keep wanting to tongue them. Off to play some Battlefield 2. Cyaz

Week uh.. three? Thursday, June 16th, 2005

I’ve lost track of days. I never know what the date is or what day of the week it is, I just know that we’re goin out to do something somewhere. Since I last posted, we’ve visited Hardiwar, Rishikesh, Agra, Japuir, and other cities on the way between. I’ve lost my film camera (digital camera is still kickin) but I lost all the photos from Qtub Minar and the sufi tomb I mentioned in the first post. I’m getting used to the heat (its 55 degrees C outside, which is around 120 deg F, and it doesn’t really feel too bad) and even though I’m outside all the time, I’m not black or burnt. I guess with all the dust and pollution in the air the sun doesn’t have a chance at tanning me.

The most frustrating thing about this trip is the time difference between here and home. It is almost 5:15pm here, and there is a 10.5 hour difference, making it… 7:45 am at home? It is difficult to make phone calls or catch anyone online (they’ve got aim here, but its hard to get at… india loves yahoo for some reason.)

In three days or so we fly to Goa, then to Mumbai, then back to Delhi. Three or four days after getting back to Delhi, I’m flying home (July 2nd, arriving the 3rd) so mark your calendars.

Here’s a useful link.

The Shield… Tuesday, June 14th, 2005

….Season Finale is on tonight. I am excited. It’s really the only show I make time to watch. It’s probably the best show ever made, and that’s counting MacGyver. Who knows what will happen! Given it’s The Shield, and the Season Finale, it’s most likely going to involve extreme violence, racism, phonebook beatings, and Michael Chiklis being a badass. As long as Shane Vendrell is ok I’m fine.

Battlefield 2 is really fun. I am debating quitting World of Warcraft to go to Battlefield 2. I might just play my priest on World of Warcraft with Nick and his cousin and forget about my PvP rank. You can have defribulators with the medic class in BF2. Meaning, you can bring people back to life when they die. That’s medically-hot. And guess what. Yeah you guessed it, you can kill them with the defribulators too. Jump start your heart - to the DEATH!!!11111

I bought some women’s jeans. Man those things are great. I just can’t express enough interest in these things. Girl’s jeans fit really nice and are stylish and cool. I’m gonna wear them all the time. Crotch-willing. People might think I’m gay but you know what? I’m completely comfortable with my heterosexuality and am not afraid to be thought of as gay. I’ve never cared before what people think and I still don’t. I like the way girl’s jeans look so dammit, I’m going to sport them.

This just in: no matter WHAT the situation, imagine yourself making a serious face and the song “Holding Out for a Her0″ (preferably the Jennifer Saunders version, but the original Bonnie Tyler version will work) playing in the background. Instantly nullifies any seriousness of the situation. Even better, if you hear a heavy metal/”scream” band playing, imagine clowns playing the instruments and singing. Can’t take the song seriously anymore. I usually hate clowns but this is great.

The pressure is on for me to get a haircut. At work I have to wear a headache-inducing hat or degrading hair net. But I mustn’t give in. My hair will get longer and it will prosper. My hair. My beautiful hair.
