I’ve been playing Battlefield Vietnam quite a bit lately. Last night I got a nice win with 115 points. The M60/LAW Combo is hilarious. EA has already mentioned taking the LAW (missile launcher) out of the M60 class (M60 is the biggest fucking machine gun imagineable) to make it more fair. The NVA side does get the RPD (huge machine gun, sorta like the PKM in Desert Combat), but they only get grenades with it (no LAW).
This past semester was really weird. I hated all of my classes, but ended up doing way better than expected. I didn’t make Dean’s List, but I would have if I had more hours.

The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) was simply amazing this year. I couldn’t go (only those in the business are allowed), but I used my IGN Insider account to its full extent over the past week. I’m most excited about the Nintendo DS, the Sony PSP, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, and Halo 2. Oh, and the next Legend of Zelda game that did away with cel-shading. Miyamoto kicks ass!
I swear me and BlueMax’s room looks like the NewEgg warehouse now. We have a ton of computer shit laying around. I always wonderered what it would be like to have as much useless shit as some of my computer nerd friends, and now I do. There’s IDE cables laying everywhere, miscellaneous hard drives, about 25 retail 80mm case fans, cathodes, computer cases, RAM, you name it. There was 6 monitors in here but we gave one to our mom, one of them broke, we put two in the closet, and are using the other two.
World of Warcraft is really fun. I started an Undead Warrior and got to level 11 before deleting him. I was doing so many quests and having so much fun that I didn’t want to keep playing. Ya see, the characters get deleted before it goes retail, so I didn’t want to play too much on a character that’s gonna go down the shitter. I’ll definitely be buying it when it comes out.
I’m really glad I wasted money on UV sensitive cables and dual UV Cold Cathodes. My computer is really fuckin cool now. I ordered a NF7-S 2.0 motherboard from NewEgg along with an Athlon XP 2500+ Barton and a 350w Enermax Noise Killer PSU. Get this: it’s the first thing I’ve ever ordered from NewEgg and kept. I finally got lucky with computers. Now I have a Gigabyte GA-7VR motherboard and Athlon XP 1900+ sitting on my bookshelf.
