Today in Computers we learned about the different Operating Systems for computers. My teacher emphasized that Windows 95 and 98 are only good for the internet, and that’s what they were designed for. Nothing else. Just internet.
We also learned that Windows NT and 2000 are the same thing, and that the internet is bad on them, but networking works.
According to my teacher, you can NOT ever use a network on Windows 95 or 98. In other words, you can’t use DSL/Cable/LAN connections. Yeah.
Unix now costs $60,000.
If you know anything about computers, you should be using Linux. If you are a amateur at computers, you should be using Windows. Windows is only useful if you are computer illiterate. Windows XP wasn’t in her book, so she didn’t go over it. She wrote it as an operating system on the board, but she didn’t talk about it, because she didn’t know anything about it. She needs to get another Bullshit® PC Atlas that’s updated and tell us some more cool stuff.
Anything I said above is what she’s teaching our class. Sometimes, I honestly want to raise my hand and say, “Do you mind if I explain it to the class? You’re simply wrong!”
It really pisses me off. She does shit like that everyday.
I took the rest of my mid-term today. It was 3 questions, and I wrote almost 7 pages in my blue book on it. A blue book is a book you write the answers for your exam in. I think I did good on it. I sure as hell hope so. That will make the first grade we’ve had this year. We’ve been in class since August 27th, and we haven’t had a grade yet. Damn!
I’ve determined that chinese food hates me. Or my stomach, rather. What an asshat! It always makes my stomach hurt like hell. I’m never eating another eggroll! I wonder how long that will last. Ha ha.
